Tina is best described as a “Certified Beauty Junkie.” From her early years attending hair shows with her father, (who was a barber), and her mother’s refusal to be seen without makeup ever, she knew the beauty industry would be calling her name.
She originally began her beauty career path in Illinois just out of high school, graduating from Cosmetology School and being recruited to work at the beauty school owner’s salon. She enjoyed doing hair for about a year before deciding to move to Colorado.
Life took many turns and she discovered some alternate career paths that better served her goals of starting and raising a family. Flashing forward many years, she happily found herself back in the glam world working at Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom where she was thrilled to be once again surrounded by some of the industry’s most prestigious makeup and skin care lines. Her favorite Nordstrom career was as a Beauty Stylist where she was able to truly flex her skills as an expert in all products. She especially enjoyed getting to work with clients of all ages and skin types and creating looks from every day to dramatic.
Throughout her 15+ years working in retail cosmetics, she gained the most satisfaction from working with bridal parties. Because her license in Illinois had expired, she decided to go back to school and obtain first her esthetics license followed by her full cosmetology license so that she could focus on what she loves the most! This passion led her to pursue a career as a full time freelance makeup and hair stylist.
Working with Tina, it’s not hard to see that she absolutely thrives on making her clients feel at ease and bringing out their natural beauty. Her incredible years of industry experience have given her a wealth of knowledge that she is only too eager to pass on to her clients.
